Park Village Auctions is inviting offers on one of the most extensive foundry operations in South Africa. The sale includes the complete foundry plant and prime industrial property in the heart of Benoni Industrial.
The assets stem from Naledi Foundry Operations (Pty) Ltd—renowned for its supply to the mining, automotive and transport, railway, infrastructure and rolling stock sectors—currently in business rescue.
PVA’s Roy Lazarus says that most businesses sold under the banner of business rescue simply need a capital injection or restructuring to continue operations and therefore represent an excellent opportunity for investors.
“The foundry boasts a remarkable repertoire and an inventory to support built up over several decades since its establishment in 1947,” says Roy. He continues, “The potential of the plant and its equipment represents a highly attractive investment.” Highlighted lots are as follows.
