How we started
Initially a print publication – 1 million copies inserted into the Caxton weeklies, the focus of The Auctioneer was to bring all auctions into one singular presentation for prospective buyers to view at the same time. With the interest in print advertising waning, we began to morph into a website collection of auctions in 2012 while aggressively growing our database subscriptions.

Now, our focus is still the same, to bring all auction offerings together for the buyer to browse – from a trusted source. Only our medium has changed, we have a weekly listing mailer as well as exclusive mailer options catering to a wide variety of auction categories.
Our position as a trusted source is clear in the response rate to our mailers, and the quality of those responses. With an open rate upwards of 6,5% and a consistent flow of enquiries, The Auctioneer database delivers.
