Park Village Auctions will bring to market an enormous store of machinery, equipment, and plenty stock related to automotive and electrical cable manufacturing by way of a simulcast auction.
That’s the word from PVA’s Director, Roy Lazarus, who says that any suppliers of vehicular, battery, domestic or industrial electrical cabling stand to gain from the array of assets on offer.
The assets stem from an established and renowned cabling concern, Walro Flex (Pty) Ltd (in liquidation). “By the name alone, buyers are assured of quality, top-of-the-range equipment,” says Roy.
Commencing at 11:00 on Wednesday, 3 August, bidders on the floor and online will contend in real-time as the auction gets underway.
Highlighted lots include: a Cable Craft bull block wire drawing machine, a Schonauer filtration plant, a Henrich single-end drawing machine, a Cable Craft electro plant tinting plant, a Henrich 14-end multi-wire drawing machine, Henrich bundle packer, Henrich 14- and 16-end multi-wire drawing machines, a water-cooling system, a Polar EG-450 chiller unit, a Jemaco SPX nitrogen compressor plant, an Atlas Copco nitrogen stand-by compressor.
Stock to be sold comprises vast amounts of reels with copper wiring. Roy: “There is copious copper stock available.”
Components for a bunching section (with various bunching and twist bunching machines), an extrusion section, and a coiling section will also be sold.
Other lots include Tubeler strandler machines comprising microwire single and 7 hatch bundlers; re-works and dispatch equipment; and the floor layout consisting of a roller table with electric gear unit, a rubber conveyor belt, an upright wrapping machine, a rotating platform, and label printers.
A Beta diameter gauge, Nikon profile projector, Altra Sonic diamond and angle cutter, Balloffet wire polishing machine; drill presses, grinders, an Ursus-200 centre metal lathe, industrial shelving and inline cable printers make up the workshop and support equipment.
Laboratory equipment such as a Micro med microscope with gigabyte intel, a Lloyd tensioner with liner indicator and digital control panel, Haefely hipotronics insolation resistant testers, a Sanyo fully programmable upright laboratory freezer, and Memmert laboratory heating ovens will be on the block.
Final lots comprise welders, scales, jacks, pallet wrappers, trolleys, ladders, trestles, and racking; followed by vehicles (Isuzu, Canter, Flat deck rigid truck, Toyota 2.5-ton forklift) and closing with assorted office furniture.
Viewing will be held onsite at 64 – 6th Avenue, Alberton, on Monday and Tuesday (1-2 August) from 09:00-15:00.
