Whether you’re an avid wildlife enthusiast or simply looking to unwind in a tranquil and luxurious environment, Kruger Private Lodge offers an unforgettable stay that combines
adventure, relaxation, and the beauty of the wild. Marloth Park is home to a remarkable diversity of wildlife, including four of the “Big Five” (buffalo, rhino, lion, and leopard), with the notable exception of the African elephant. The buffalo, rhino, and lion are confined to the park’s game reserve, Lionspruit, where visitors can access the area in their private vehicles, although certain tracks may require a 4×4 vehicle. Lionspruit is equipped with picnic spots, braai areas, viewpoints, and waterholes for wildlife observation.

Other animals such as kudu, zebra, giraffe, blue wildebeest, nyala, impala, bushbuck, warthog, baboon, vervet monkey, and ostriches roam freely throughout the northern section of the park, as there are no internal fences dividing this part of the sanctuary. The free-roaming wildlife allows guests to experience an authentic wilderness environment where nature thrives without boundaries. Tourist’s may also encounter smaller game species and a rich variety of birdlife. Occasionally, lions from the neighbouring Kruger National Park wander into Marloth Park.
