Park Village Auctions is inviting offers for the entire contents of a dry cleaning and laundry concern based in Kya Sands (Randburg, Gauteng) that is in business rescue.
Says PVA’s Morné Parkinson: “This sale represents a fantastic opportunity to get a foot in the door of a going concern. The equipment, facilities and all the groundwork are already in place. All that’s needed is some new direction, and this business could potentially thrive once more.”
Washing and drying equipment comprises assorted 23kg and 50kg tumble dryers to be sold as a lot, a Solid air dryer, various 22kg, 23kg, 57kg and 100kg washing machines to be sold as a lot.
Under the banner of dry cleaning, Tullis dry cleaning machines, and a C2 Modular 440 Perc Mec Vantage 440 Hydrocarbon dry cleaning machine, a Fini Cube 10-SD Screw Compressor, a 0.05M3 receiver tank, a GDS Diesel 500kVA Generator with AMF, and a consolidated water conditioning water purification system will be sold.
Pressing and finishing equipment include a steam press with irons, a press form finisher and a cleaning and finishing station from Sidi Mondial, as well as a steam press, finishing stands, and a finishing table from Forenta.
Remaining assets include a hanger railing system approximately 80m long, a bag dispenser with foot operation sealer, a Rabbit Thermopatch, a Jensen Jenroll Exp800 roller iron combined with Jenfold classic folder, a John Thompson 10-ton boiler, water treatment softener, a Condensate return tank cooling tower, a Christy Boiler 3-Ton diesel- or paraffin-fired boiler, plastic laundry carts on castors, steel 1.6m-high laundry cages, and steel worktables.
“The assets represent the business as a going concern,” says Parkinson. He adds, “As such, the option to enter into a lease agreement with the landlord exists.”
A viewing of the assets will be held at 22 Staal Street, Kya Sands, Randburg, on Monday the 19th of July from 9 am to 3 pm.
Offers are to be submitted on official PVA documentation by no later than 12-noon on Friday the 23rd of July. Offer documents can be found on www.parkvillageauctions.co.za under web reference listing 778. For more information, please contact Morné Parkinson on 082 778 6003.
