PVA Sells Rolls Royce Phantom and Announces Year-End Car Auction

Someone’s “From me; to me” Christmas present came early this year when they bid at Park Village Auctions’ previous vehicle auction.

After fierce bidding on the 18th of November, one value-savvy bidder picked up a beautiful pearl white, V12, 2016 Rolls Royce Phantom luxury sedan with only 7791 km on the clock for a cool R5.5 million—shaving off a million Rand from the average base model price!

“The winning bidder showed poise throughout and seemed to be no stranger to the intensity of the auction floor—albeit online,” says PVA’s Graham van Niekerk.

Looking forward to more action at PVA’s Martindale vehicle repossession centre, van Niekerk is sure that the final car auction of the year will attract crowds of value-seeking buyers. He says, “This time of year always beckons bargain-hunters who know that the floor is full of relatively new models that sell for much lower than dealer rates. Drastically reduced interest rates will more than likely call even more of the affordability-aware to the sale.”

Park Village Auctions’ final vehicle auction of the year will take place on Tuesday the 15th of December at 10:30 via webcast, that is, an online broadcast with real-time bidding.

In line with what bidders have come to expect from PVA, a wide variety of genuine, bank repossessed, passenger cars ranging from entry-level hatchbacks to luxury sedans, SUVs and light utility vehicles will be on the block.

A viewing will be held from 09:00 to 16:00 the day before on Monday the 14th of December at PVA’s Martindale venue, 221 Main Road, Martindale, Gauteng. For more information, or to register for the auction, visit www.parkvillageauctions.co.za web listing 652.
