ADTs, Excavators, and Fleet Trucks head to Major Mining and Transport Auction

Park Village Auctions (PVA) will host a major national webcast auction featuring a premium selection of late-model mining, crushing, and transport equipment on Tuesday, 14 April 2026. The sale follows the availability of assets from a significant mining operation in Mpumalanga.

PVA’s John Taylor, who announced the news, says the sale is particularly relevant for mine owners, plant hire companies, and logistics providers looking to expand fleets with high-specification brands without the lead times of new orders.

“With South African mining production seeing a significant 4.6% year-on-year surge in early 2026, the demand for immediate-deployment heavy machinery has never been higher,” Taylor says. “This inventory allows operators to bypass global supply chain delays and capitalise on the current upswing in commodity output and ‘pit-to-port’ logistics demands without delay.”

The yellow metal and mining categories headline the sale with eight 2022 Bell B45 Articulated Dump Trucks (ADTs) and a robust line-up of heavy-duty excavators, including Volvo EC950E (fully refurbished), Sumitomo SH700, and SH300 models.

Processing equipment includes a 2020 Terex Transpaktor TP320 Mobile Impact Crusher and a 2020 Terex Powerscreen 1800 three-deck mobile screen, both showing approximately 6,700 operating hours. A Telestacker TC-421R Tracker stockpile stacker, a 22kw diesel generator, and several front-end loaders, including Komatsu WA500-6R and Rondebult RB320 units, further bolster the offering.

Heavy bulk material transport lots comprise 30 Volvo FH and two Volvo FMX horses, dating from 2020 to 2022, and a substantial fleet of 34 Arihant and Trailmax side tipper leaders and followers.

The webcast auction will commence at 11:00 am on 14 April. Assets are located at Ikoti Coal Mine, Breyten, Farm Klipfontein 241 IS, Mpumalanga. A physical preview will be held on-site on 9 and 13 April from 10:00 to 15:00. Please note that full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is strictly required for all site visits.
