Big-Ticket Yellow Metal and Commercial Vehicle Auction
Park Village Auctions has announced an earthmoving and civil construction equipment auction that will see big-ticket assets from excavators, dump trucks and cement mixers to containers on the block.
The assets stem from the liquidation of a concern that supported mining, civil engineering, construction, cement and concrete product manufacturing, and lumber activities.
As inflation and fuel prices continue to rise, PVA’s Werner Burger says that the sale represents an opportune way to acquire capital equipment.
Specialised equipment to be sold comprises a PMC concrete batching plant (approximately 12m p/h), three 100-ton Silos Pan Mixers, two 60-ton silos, four aggregate bunkers with boom scraper batch plant complete book scraper, a pan mixer and 6m Containers.
Under the banner of earthmoving equipment, Bell 670CH and 772D graders; Bell B20D and B18D 18000-litre water carts; Bell B30D and B40D articulated dump trucks; Caterpillar 730C and 785C articulated dump trucks; Caterpillar 2×4 backhoe loaders; Caterpillar 966L, 980H, 988F and 992D loaders; Hitachi Zaxis 200 and 330LC excavators; a JCB 467 ZX wheel loader; Komatsu HD 785 and 375A dump trucks; a Komatsu PC800 SE excavator; a Komatsu WA 380 loader; a Liebherr 566 loader; Liebherr 9350, 974, and 984 excavators; a Liugong 856 loader; a Liugong CLG 777 TLB; a Luigong 888 wheel loader; a Pecs 018 Pegson Xh320 crusher, a Pegson Power Screen Warrior, a Sany SRT 95 dump truck; Sany SY335 and SY465C excavators will be sold.
Truck tractors and trailers comprise an Astra 6648 22m-tipper rigid truck; a Henred 60-ton low bed trailer with gooseneck; a Hino 500 13-237-service rigid truck; Hino 6 CU M concrete rigid trucks; a Hino 700 2841 Diesel tanker rigid truck; and a Volvo F12 Truck Tractor.
LDVs on the block include an Isuzu KB250 single cab LDV; a fleet of Mahindra Scorpio single cabs; a Toyota Quantum personnel carrier; a Toyota Hilux 2.4 Gd6 single cab; Toyota Hilux D4D 2.5 double and single cabs; and a Toyota Hilux 3.0 D4D single cab.
The last lots on the day will include an assortment of welders, compressors, tools, parts, and scrap metal.
The auction will take place at 10:30 am on-site at Corner Leyds and Nyala Streets, Phalaborwa, on the 28th of June, with a live webcast for online participants.
Viewing will be held on Monday the 27th of June from 9 am to 3 pm, and on Tuesday the 28th from 9-10 am. PPE equipment is required for access.
