“Bumper” PVA Warehouse Auction Announced

Park Village Auctions has announced its first warehouse for the year, and it is set to be big!

That’s the word from PVA’s Elaine Hague, who says that the “bumper” auction features such a large assortment of goods that it warrants a 10-day timed online auction.

“Our warehouse is brimming with engineering and high-tech equipment, furniture, and appliances from several liquidations and insolvent estates. Due to the volume and varied nature of the lots, we have opted to host a timed online auction from 1-10 March,” Hague explains.

Starting at 10 am on Tuesday the 1st of March, bidders will find an array of items as follows.

Engineering equipment comprising a Pamasol Macromat 2045 two-head filler and gasser, Colma 2000L stainless steel tanks, shrink wrapping machines, a Thermosteam 1-ton diesel boiler, a Filquip 4-head filler plus electric conveyor system, compressors, generators, Thermamax inverter welding machines, a Newclear 150 Big Block/Head Press, an Apogee 5300 touch colour doppler ultrasound unit, Regma paper trimmers, cutters and related items.

Computer equipment and electronics such as towers, monitors, laptops, copiers, printers, server cabinets and projectors will be on the block. There will also be video security systems, dome cameras, trunking, CCTV and other surveillance equipment related to a security concern.

Under the banner of Audio-Visual (AV) equipment, an assortment of LED PAR lamps, rotating spot and wash lights, light controllers, dimmers, track searchlights, microphones, floodlights, fog machines, and stream lights.

Catering and event-hire equipment include an electric combi oven, chafing dishes, cooler stands, padded chairs and assorted event furniture.

Salon and hairdressing equipment comprises wash stations, styling chairs, display cabinets, shelving and accessories.

A collection of executive boardroom suites, conference sets, workstations, L-shape desks, credenzas, filing cabinets, office chairs, stationery cabinets, and reception counters will be on the block.

Home furniture includes lounge suites, armchairs, dining room suites, base sets, dressing tables, coffee tables, paintings, oriental carpets and rugs, a Noritake dinner service, Versace plates, and assortment of crystalware and silverware—and even an Ed Seiler Grand Piano.

Finally, home appliances to be sold include televisions, fridges, freezers, HiFi systems, microwaves, washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, among many others.

The timed-online auction commences at 10 am on the 1st ofMarch. Closing bids start at 12 pm (noon) on the 9th of March and conclude the following day.

Hague advises that “viewing is essential.” Those who wish to view the assets have two opportunities on the 1st, and 9th of March from 9 am to 4 pm at Park Village Auction’s Warehouse, 8 Prolecon Road, Prolecon, Gauteng.
