Park Village Auctions has just announced that its first vehicle auction for 2021 will enable bidders across the country to participate from the comfort and safety of their homes.
The auction will be held via webcast—where bidders participate online in real-time—on Wednesday the 13th of January, from 10:30 am. Hundreds of bank-commissioned repossessed vehicles will be on offer, from entry-level hatchbacks to luxury sedans and light commercial bakkies situated in Bloemfontein, Durban and Johannesburg.
Director and head auctioneer, Clive Lazarus says, “We are pleased to announce that this years’ inaugural auction will allow bidders throughout South Africa to join.
“Our webcast auctions were launched in response to lockdown safety requirements and have proven hugely successful over the last year. I am proud of our achievements in bringing auctions into homes when bidders can’t join us on the floor.”
Over the years, PVAs vehicle auctions have earned a solid reputation for bringing quality, trustworthy, and affordable cars to market. It’s no secret that dealers themselves frequent PVA’s auctions as well for this reason.
“The stock that we have secured for the upcoming auction is in line with what bidders come to expect. I anticipate furious bidding on the day, I foresee cars being sold as fast as fibre [internet] will allow,” says Clive, smiling broadly.
While there won’t be physical attendance on the day of the auction, viewing beforehand will be held at PVA’s Bloemfontein, Durban and Johannesburg venues on Monday the 11th and Tuesday the 12th of January from 9 am to 4 pm. Strict hygiene and COVID-19 safety protocol will apply. This includes social distancing, hand sanitising and a no mask; no entry policy.
