A prominent Limpopo-based operator in sawn pine products, Tshifhire Timbers (Pty)
Ltd t/a Shefeera Timbers (in business rescue) is next on the Park Village Auctions’
timed online auction block. That’s the news from Park Village Auctions’ Werner
Burger, who says the sale represents an excellent opportunity for investors.
Burger: “With a growing demand for lumber, particularly in the construction and
furniture manufacturing sectors, encouraged Government’s push to use wood as a
sustainable building material, there appears to be a ready market.
“Purchasing an established concern mitigates considerable start-up costs for capex
equipment and land, making the investment all the more viable. Most businesses
sold under the business rescue banner need only a capital injection to continue
operating—enabling investors to see faster returns. The fact that sawed and treated
products increase value before reaching the consumer increases potential profits
further.”
