Stock and hundreds of assets related to grocery storage and delivery must go. That’s the word from Roy Lazarus, Director of Park Village Auctions.
“This is an ideal opportunity for national food retailers or distributors to acquire equipment without increased pressure on already beleaguered OpEx budgets,” says Roy.
PVA is inviting offers on the entire contents of 26 nationwide depots (CT, PTA, JHB) and two mothership warehouses (CT and JHB).
The assets comprise stock, multi-tier shelving, multi-tier steel and plastic crates, pallet jacks, chest freezers, double-sliding door display fridges, Defy fridge freezers, steel shopper trolleys, shopper baskets, assorted fans, and office furniture (such as desks, copiers, server cabinets, chairs, and water dispensers).
The contents for each depot is to be sold as one lot, except for the stock, which is to be sold as per the offer documentation. Fixtures, fittings, and shelving linked to the sprinkler systems at the DCs are excluded. There are also new, unused generators to be sold individually or combined.
Offers must be submitted to PVA in writing no later than 12h00 (noon) on Monday the 18th of July. Viewing is strictly by appointment only and can be arranged by contacting Werner Burger on 011 334 2649 or auctions auctions@parkvillage.co.za.
