Offers Invited: Tissue Paper Manufacturing Plant
Park Village Auctions is inviting offers to purchase the entire contents of a tissue paper manufacturing plant.
“The assets stem from a prominent South African manufacturing concern, Universal Paper Manufactures, following a facility upgrade. This indicates that the market is buoyant and bodes well for investors,” says PVA’s Andrew Dix-Peek.
The seller produces several well-known brands of napkins and serviettes, paper towels and bathroom tissue for households and the hospitality industry.
According to Dix-Peek, the plant contents are to be sold individually or as a combined lot. Offers for which will be considered as follows:
- Lot 01: The stock preparation plant (60 ton/day capacity).
- Lot 02: Four tissue manufacture machines, each with 10 ton/day capacity ranging from 17gsm to 28gsm stocks.
- Lot 03: A Slitter Rewinder (200-300m/min).
- Lot 04: A water treatment plant (including DAF effluent treatment plant).
- Lot 05: A large selection of spare parts.
- Lot 06: The entire contents, as listed above as one lot.
