Offers Invited: Tissue Paper Manufacturing Plant
Park Village Auctions is inviting offers to purchase the entire contents of a virgin tissue paper manufacturing plant.
“The assets stem from a voluntary sale by a prominent South African manufacturing concern that is currently upgrading its facilities. This indicates that the market is buoyant and bodes well for investors,” says PVA’s Werner Burger.
The seller produces several well-known brands of napkins and serviettes, paper towels and bathroom tissue for households and the hospitality industry.
According to Burger, the plant contents are to be sold individually or as a combined lot. Offers for which will be considered as follows:
- Lot 01: The stock preparation plant (60 ton/day capacity).
- Lot 02: Four tissue manufacture machines, each with 10 ton/day capacity ranging from 17gsm to 28gsm stocks.
- Lot 03: A John Tompson 16-ton coal-fired boiler with 10bar pressure maximum.
- Lot 04: A Slitter Rewinder (200-300m/min).
- Lot 05: A water treatment plant (including Daf effluent treatment plant).
- Lot 06: A large selection of spare parts.
- Lot 07: The entire contents, as listed above as one lot.
A viewing of the assets will be held on the 16th, 17th, and 18th of March from 9am to 3pm at number 35, 4th Street, Ga-Rankuwa Industrial, Gauteng. Due to COVID-19 safety requirements, viewing needs to be arranged by appointment via Morné Parkinson on 082-778-6003.
