Timed Auction: OEM Mining Assets
Park Village Auctions has announced a timed online auction that will see high-end machinery related to underground mining equipment manufacturing on the block.
Werner Burger of PVA says it is rare to see such an extensive collection of assets of this nature and calibre in a single sale. Therefore, a timed online auction allows buyers to place considered bids and time to outbid contesters.
The assets on offer stem from a medium to heavy engineering company specialising in track and trackless mining components. Burger: “Transital Engineering Pty Ltd (currently in liquidation) focused almost exclusively on providing machining, fabrication and assembly services for OEM suppliers to various mining houses.
“However, the assets lend themselves well to servicing the construction and agricultural sectors as well.”
Machinery and equipment to be sold include, among others, TOS Varnsdorf Horizontal Boring Mills, CW 6280; Trens Trencin, and TOS SN50C centre lathes; an Atlas Copco 125KVA Generator; IBA FAP 50, and lbarmia -A50 pedestal drills, a VO 50 Radial arm drill, Mag drills, and scrap pedestal drill bases.
A Clarklift C500 Y80 Forklift, Fronius Variostar 3100 welders, Fronius Vario Synergic 5000 welders, welding screens, scrap welders, straight-line cutters, Oxygas welding and cutting sets, a Telesispins stamping machine, scaffolding and stepladders, shelving and racking, steel workbench boilermaker tables, steel measuring tables, Metmeister tool cupboards with tooling taps; dies and drills, and assorted hand tools will also go under the hammer.
“The non-exhaustive list clearly shows how anyone involved in machinery fabrication, machining, grinding, shot blasting and painting stands to gain. The auction represents a favourable opportunity to acquire otherwise costly CapEx equipment at market-related second-hand prices,” states Burger.
The auction commences at 10 am on Monday the 15th and closes at 10 am on Friday the 19th of November.
Viewing will be held at 24 Lantern Road, Wadeville, Germiston, Gauteng on Monday the 15th and Thursday the 18th of November from 10 am to 3 pm.
