Vaal River Frontage Luxury Villa On the Block

A luxurious villa on the Vaal River’s edge will be brought to market by Park Village Auctions at month-end.

That’s the word from PVA’s Jaco Du Toit who describes the Boschenvaal Riverfront Lodge as a natural haven that puts “the holiday in a holiday home.”

Though unassumingly tucked away among waterside thicket, lodge number 54 of Boschenvaal Riverfront Lodge takes the form of a handsome, free-standing, double-storey with “all the trimmings for pleasure and comfort,” says du Toit

The double-storey home opens on the ground floor with an entrance foyer that leads to an open plan lounge, a dining room, a kitchen with a scullery, a guest cloakroom, a guest en-suite bedroom, a large patio and a swimming pool.

The upper level comprises a landing, three bedrooms and three bathrooms, two of which are en-suite with the main bedroom boasting a dressing room.

A double-storey entertainment lapa and deck features a bar lounge and counter, a guest cloakroom and Jacuzzi on the upper sundeck that overlooks the Vaal River.

The property further includes a double garage, a double carport, and staff accommodation. The registered extent of the sectional title unit is 350 square meters.

du Toit, “This property embodies the best that river-side life has to offer. It is as close as can be to the river, offering scenic views with ample entertainment space. When not basking outdoors, residents can enjoy private, quiet time in the generously –apportioned living areas.”

Boschenvaal Riverfront Lodges Eco-Estate is located on Barrage Road (between the R59 and Boundary Road), Sasolburg, Free State—one hour’s drive from Johannesburg.

Being only ten minutes away from Sasolburg town and Vaalpark—where numerous shopping centres, schools, churches, healthcare facilities and other recreational amenities can be found—du Toit believes the property lends itself well as a permanent residence, holiday retreat or timeshare unit.

“Whether owned for private use or income generation, the property makes for a good addition to one’s property portfolio,” concludes du Toit.

Viewing will be open on Sunday the 22nd of November from 1pm to 4pm with the auction following on Saturday the 28th of November at 12pm (noon). Attendance at the viewing and the auction will be subject to Covid-19 safety protocols.
