Park Village Auctions (PVA) has announced a major national simulcast auction of trucks, trailers, and earthmoving equipment. The sale will take place on Thursday, 23 July. It will bring a collection of commercial vehicles and heavy machinery to the market. Buyers can participate online or in person at various national depots.
The assets stem from liquidations and bank-instructed repossessions, offering strategic buying opportunities. PVA Director Clive Lazarus says the current economic climate makes this specific auction highly relevant.
“South Africa’s current commercial market features a high volume of bank repossessions and business liquidations. These conditions provide businesses with a rare opportunity to access well-maintained, high-quality heavy machinery at much lower prices compared to brand-new equipment. Buying at auction now allows operators to significantly reduce initial capital costs and expand their fleets quickly when budgets are tight.”
The auction features an selection of truck tractors and rigids from leading global manufacturers, including Mercedes-Benz, Hino, Iveco Stralis, and Volvo, as well as highly sought-after trailer stock.
Featured lots comprise 12900L and35000L D & M Tanker double-axle fuel tankers, two 2021 model Volkswagen 17.21 buses, and a Linde H18D-04 1.8-ton forklift. Isuzu KB250 and Toyota Hilux single-cab LDVs complete the auction lot list.
The auction will take place simultaneously online and from four physical national depots:
Viewing will be held at all four physical locations on Wednesday, 22 July, from 9am to 4pm. For full details and registration, visit www.parkvillageauctions.co.za, web reference number 2257.
