Fully Equipped Technical Fabrics Textile Mill Awaits New Owner

Park Village Auctions is inviting offers on assets belonging to Gelvenor Textiles (Pty) Ltd,
currently in business rescue, as a going concern or the assets in its entirety. PVA’s John
Taylor says the sale represents a unique opportunity to capitalise on an established textile
manufacturing business.
Taylor: “The sale falls under PVA’s business rescue division, which specialises in selling
businesses experiencing difficulties. Most often, these businesses simply need a capital
injection or restructuring to continue operations, representing a viable opportunity for
investors.
“Buyers gain access to existing infrastructure, including manufacturing facilities, machinery,
and equipment, by acquiring this asset, reducing significant upfront capital expenditure.”
Assets to be sold include:
 24 x Tsudakoma ZA-205i 190cm dobby weaving machines.
 15 x Tsudakoma ZAX 190cm cam weaving machines.
 38 x Dornier rapier weaving machines, various widths, models, cam & dobby.
 7 x Picanol OmniPlus Summum 190cm dobby weaving machines (2017).
 Preparation equipment comprising Tsudakoma sizing, Karl Mayer warping, and air-jet
weaving support equipment, including compressors.
 Liba Cop Max 4 warp knitting machine (2010) and Srim-Net machines.
 A complete dyehouse comprising Hisaka/Fong’s/Thies/ATYC jets, jigger dyeing
machines, de-twisters, a cold padding mangle, and hydro extractors.
 Finishing equipment comprising Brückner stenters and Krantz stenters (1 x 2003),
calenders, and emerizing machines.
 A complete wet and dry laboratory with a finishing department.
 Plant utilities, including compressors, boilers, and workshop equipment.
 Office furniture.
