Large A-Grade Industrial Premises in Pomona On Auction

Park Village Auctions will soon bring to market an “impressive” industrial property in Pomona, Kempton Park. That’s the word from PVA’s Jaco du Toit, who says that A-grade premises of this quality and size are in short supply and will, therefore, be highly contended.

Du Toit: “1, 6223 hectares of well-maintained, zoned industrial 3, A-grade industrial space in the heart of Jo’burg’s warehousing, distribution, logistics and shipping hub, with all the bells and whistles. This property is a real gem.”

The premises boasts an office building, warehousing and workshop facilities, staff quarters, a vast yard-and-parking area.

The “visually-appealing”, fully air-conditioned, three-storey office building comprises a triple-volume reception area; numerous offices, executive suites and boardrooms; an entertainment area with a bar; kitchen facilities; storerooms; male and female ablutions; and basement parking for 14 vehicles—the office measure approximately 2030 square meters.

The warehouse-cum-workshop building features offices, boardrooms, training rooms, a kitchen, storerooms, ablutions, a mezzanine floor, gantries, a 5-ton goods lift, spray booths, vehicle inspection pits, large roller shutter doors for access, a canteen and staff quarters. The warehouse and staff quarters measure approximately 3235 square meters combined.

Spanning approximately 11 250 square meters, the yard and parking areas offers ample parking for clients, staff and for articulated vehicles with sufficient turning space.

The property is located on the corner of Constantia Street and E P Malan Street in Pomona Ext 128, which is less than 10km from OR Tambo International and is easily accessible via the N12 and R21 highways. The area is a well-known industrial hotspot nestled between several airfreight companies closer to the airport and industry giants DHL DB Schenker and Takealot Johannesburg heading towards Pretoria.

The auction will be held in simulcast, meaning that the live on-site proceedings will be cast online in real-time, allowing a greater number of bidders to participate. The sale commences at 11am on Tuesday, March 2nd. Viewing will be open one hour before the auction.
