Park Village Auctions is inviting offers on two manganese processing plants and
property based in Kathu, Northern Cape.
The sale falls under the auspices of PVA’s business rescue division, which
specialises in facilitating sales to help businesses experiencing difficulties raise liquid
capital. PVA’s John Taylor: “The sale will provide the capital injection needed for the
concern from which the assets stem to continue operating.”
The property on offer, Portion 4 of the Farm Kapstewel, 436 Hay Road, is located
19km North of Postmasburg on the R325. It measures 770.8788ha, is zoned
“Agricultural and boasts 3-phase electricity with 11kVA capacity.
Improvements include a main dwelling comprising an open plan lounge and dining
area with 15 en-suite bedrooms; a second dwelling, warehousing, stores a borehole,
two dams, a lapa, and a modest staff house.
Plant 1 is an EM plant described as a “Complete 400TPH (input) Manganese
Crushing Plant”. The plant comprises a Grizzly Hopper, a primary jaw (900 x 1200),
a secondary jaw trio plant (900 x 600), a Sandvik H400 Cone Crusher (250TPH),
screens, four mag separators, MCC, and complete conveyor infrastructure to be sold
as a single lot.
Plant 2 is an MM plant described as a “Partially Commissioned Manganese Crushing
Plant”. The plant comprises an AMG Huate jaw crusher (750 x 1060); a mobile DMS
plant with mag separators, two screens, and two pumps; a Diesel tank with a meter
(20000 ltr); a screen (6 x 2.4), double-deck feed conveyor (25m), oversize conveyor
and four discharge conveyors; a screen (490 x 110); and steel structures to be sold
as a single lot.
