Park Village Auctions has announced a significant “office furniture clearance auction”
featuring assets from Ellies Electronics (Pty) Limited, a prominent South African
electronics company currently in business rescue.
This sale comes in the wake of Ellies Holdings Limited being placed into voluntary
business rescue proceedings and subsequently recommended for liquidation.
The auction, set to commence on Wednesday, 10 July, at 10 am and conclude on
Tuesday, 16 July, at 12 pm (noon), falls under the auspices of PVA’s specialised
business rescue division.
“While Ellies Holdings faces liquidation, it’s important to note that Ellies Electronics,
the main operating subsidiary, will continue trading,” says PVA’s Roy Lazarus. “Most
companies that are under business rescue simply need a capital injection or
restructuring to continue operating. This often presents an excellent opportunity for
investors looking to acquire established business assets or operations.
“This auction, in particular, represents an opportunity for businesses and individuals
to acquire quality office assets at competitive prices.”
Assets on the auction block include:
Boardroom and conference tables
Workstations and desks
Air conditioners
Shelving and bulk filing systems
Fridges
Stationary cabinets
Shredders, and many more similar office items.
Interested parties can view the items on auction at Brooklyn Place, 3 Centex Close,
Kramerville, on Wednesday, the 10 and Monday, the 15 July, from 9 am to 3 pm.
