The joint liquidators of the renowned, multi-branch, autobody repair and panel beating concern, Danmar Autobody (currently in liquidation), have instructed Park Village Auctions to dispose of assets through numerous auctions in various formats.
Danmar Autobody is synonymous with Mercedez-Benz repair, panel beating and spray painting with serval branches scattered throughout Gauteng. PVA Director, Clive Lazarus, charged with overseeing the auction, says, “We are committed to achieving the best possible outcome for our clients and their creditors.
“We have, therefore, structured disposal of the entire contents of Danmar Autobody to maximise results based on evidence from our almost forty years of experience.”
The auction run will commence with three timed online auctions, each making contents from a different site (branch) available as follows:
Viewing will be held on the 2nd of August from 9 am to 3 pm, and on the 10th of August from 9-11:30 am. Web reference 780.
Viewing will take place on Tuesday the 3rd from 9 am to 3 pm, and on the 11th of August from 9-11:30 am. Web reference 781.
Viewing is to be held on the 4th from 9 am to 3 pm, and on the 13th from 8-10 am—web reference 782.
Assets to be sold via the three online auctions comprise workshop machinery and equipment, catering (canteen) equipment and office furniture. A detailed inventory for each auction is listed under its respective web reference on PVA’s website.
On the 12th of August, from 11 am, the entire contents of Danmar Autobody Ophirto repair centre, located at 39 Earp Street, Ophirton, Johannesburg, will be sold by way of simulcast auction. A simulcast auction is where bidders on the floor and online compete in real-time as an onsite and live webcast auction run simultaneously.
Contents to be sold also include workshop and canteen equipment and office furniture. Viewing will be held on Wednesday the 11th of August from 10 am to 3 pm. A detailed list can be found under web reference listing 783 on www.parkvillageauctions.co.za.
